Alright, so for the past 4 and a half hours, I have been grinding away at my Spreadsheets homework to get ready for the upcoming test tomorrow. So, I got Chapter 5 done easily, but Chapter 6 proved to be quite the deception.
We're allowed to submit the practice test 5 times to see how we did and fix our mistakes. Granted I got a majority of the instructions done correctly, there was this one problem I was having with the final part.
Now the problem is this takes place in Microsoft Excel, the program where if you try to move something around and make a wrong move, everything goes to shit. So, after submitting it for the third time, it still said the parts where linking numbers was wrong even though the numbers were THE FUCKING EXACT SAME ON THE EXAMPLE.
So I spent a lot of time looking for what I did wrong and it wasn't until I looked at the formula on the correct version from a few weeks ago to see what I did wrong. The name of the file had a (1) on it. That was the one I was using for this practice test. The one I kept getting wrong. Then I see that the correct one didn't have anything extra there. That's when it hit me.
I'd been deceived from the big greedy corporations of my campus, trying to get me to quit my business studies so I'll take an entirely new course load so I have to spend +$300 on books and pay $2000 for my classes ($400 each)
Hahaha nah just kidding, but I do feel like I've been deceived here. I mean maybe I'm just an idiot, but when it comes to Excel and this course, you're not allowed to make any adjustments unless it's instructed. I mean I didn't know this was the same sheet until half-way through, and the fact that a little addition made on a file name is ridiculous. I removed the (1) from the name of the file and tried it again and surprise surprise, the thing said it was correct?
I'm pretty annoyed by it, but also can't help but laugh. Either I'm an idiot, or I've been deceived. Probably a mix of both

This actually hit home pretty hard...
Ah good old Nostalgia right? Well I'm not sure if I can count on you guys to relate to this, but tbh, this video actually hit me right in the feels.
I played Minecraft first on the Xbox 360 back in 2012 and had NO idea wtf I was doing. That was actually a really... really good time. Me and my friends would play for hours, building and fucking around for the whole summer.
Now I realize that was 7 years ago.
Don't even touch the game anymore. Not since everyone either got too busy with life or just lost interest. Ahhhh, good times :^)
Man, where did the time go?
Also edgy meme for good measure
Oh... It's October 1st
You know what that means...
Keep your chin up folks
Seems like every time I think I've heard it all, the people in my life have a way of reminding me how proud they are of me and I realize that they're actually correct.
I know this will seem like bragging, but it always brings a smile to my face at how far I've come as a person. The manager at the soup kitchen I still volunteer at every Saturday told me today just how proud she was of me for coming all this way, and still standing tall. She had a conversation earlier this week with my mother who actually told her lots of things and maybe even made her cry lol.
In October, I took the appropriate steps when it came to seizing a work-term in th
Regarding my previous journal...
I was in kind of a bad spot during that time. Our cat Basco had just passed away during that time and I was under a shit-ton of stress. We're still coping with it and it's not easy, but we'll get by.
ANYHOW
I've returned to DA, and quite frankly, I can't see myself ever leaving this site permanently in the future. I've been a workaholic in the past couple months and just paid zero attention to this site (though that's obviously the smart choice lol), but as I've mentioned numerous times, I've also taken up a hobby of writing ever since November of 2017. I'd share it with you but it's pretty NSFW LOL.
Regardless, as much as I love writing,

ain't college a bitch? I asked my teacher for help for my video production class & he didn't fucking respond until last week, saying he was "away for a few days". It's worse because all my classes are online & it really shouldn't be
